Richard,

Columbia is great!

We are now midway through our sixth week of class and the heat has been turned on. Our schedule is extremely busy - filled with classes, corporate recruiting presentations and, of course, homework. In orientation they told us that we would have more work than we could possibly handle, and that prediction has proved to be true. The reading load is totally unmanageable and is generally placed on the back burner. Written assignments take priority and cases for class discussion come next.

The work is generally very interesting and better than I expected. Most of my professors are outstanding. They have a great deal of experience as businessmen and as professors. My classmates are also quite impressive. The admissions department really does a great job of putting together a group which has diverse business and life experiences.

Life is good in New York and required virtually no transition from life in Houston. Maybe I was just ready for a move. The subway is easy to navigate and several of my good friends from Houston are here. The food is terrific!

I checked out your web site earlier this week and it looks great. Has it produced any business? I don't even need to ask if you are busy with your work because I know you are.

Thanks again for all of your help. I would not be here were it not for your test-taking expertise.

I hope that all is well with you and that your business continues to grow.

Fred
